I dream of becoming a magician, a chef, a chocolatier, a fashion designer, a movie director, a DJ, a professional photographer and a stock market guru. I also want my very own candy outlet. (: My blog comprises photographs and random thoughts. I like to keep my blog happy and I'm easily inspired. It's nice knowing that people are reading, so thank you. :D

    May - Mid June

This space has been dead for a month and a half now. Somehow I just feel like updating this, tonight, now. Maybe it's due to my insane reading these days (short stories from Edgar Allan Poe, all sorts of poetry, books from Douglas Adams and that one book titled Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close), or maybe it's because I didn't felt like penning them down in a diary, I don't know.

Due to the whole thing about specialisations and second specialisations on NBS, I've been thinking a lot. I wonder how people tend to take things simply because they can, and not because they want to. Just because they are eligible, just to make full use of their capacity, just that and not out of genuine interest. I know there are people who let interest direct their course of action, and such people are often most motivated. But then there are people who just do, just because.

I'm way more active on Facebook. Find me there. These are updates taken off my Facebook by the way, enjoy (yes I've been eating a lot).

Marché Mövenpick at JEM || Norwegian Smoked Salmon White Pizza (for two) | Cold Cut | Hot Chocolate with a bonus smiley

    Strawberry cheesecake at Starbucks.

Round 1 of smokeless (YAYE SMOKELESS YAYE) Yakiniku BBQ buffet at The Village near Jurong Bird Park with my parents. There's over 100 items to choose from but I'm just having beef rib eye. ($34.90++ per pax) Supposed to be near $60 per pax but they are having some promotion.

Stupid dad insists on coming on a weekend night although we are all free on weekday afternoons. "我爽。" he says. Waste money. -.-

Anyway there are very little people here due to poor promotional efforts. Would be better if I was actually hungry before coming here but oh well.

After Watami at Ion and Coldstone Creamery at Somerset.

Symmetry at 9 Jalan Kubor || X'mas Brunch | Waffle

Dome, World's Finest Coffees at S.A.M || Iced mocha with gelato | Signature grilled porcini mushroom chicken | Sspinach and ricotta ravioli | Cappuccino | Signature Dome carrot cake

The food wasn't bad, in fact the chicken and wedges were good. I finally tried ang moh carrot cake for the first time in my life and it tastes kind of like a fruit cake, and nothing like carrot, which was kind of disappointing. Somehow I always imagined it to be more... Carroty.

I don't know if a cafe can just claim to have the world's finest coffee but I'm no coffee connoisseur and will be happy with hot chocolate or milk tea any day. They also serve food at an incredulously slow rate. This means that the second main (hah) came when the first was finished and the dessert was semi eaten. Don't sit at the edges where the comfy cushion seats lie because it can get a little warm after a while.

Yum Cha hi-tea buffet at Chinatown with 62 different goodies to choose from.

A&E at UOC Seniors' Camp 2014

    Close enough.

Woke up to abalone porridge today. And he made sweet potatoes too. Best dad in the universe!

Dinner at PS Cafe after Accounting Test. The ribs, ribeye, crazy delicious desserts and TRUFFLE FRIES. #BloatedUntilCannotWalk#Seriously#LikePenguins (Spend above $100 to get free parking at Palais Renaissance. You're welcome.)
