I just took an online quiz. And it basically analyses my personality through a series of cute questions (and very Singaporean replies) to find out what kind of Singaporean I am. (:
Here's one of the questions!
I think this reflects a lot about my eating habits (which explains my mass) and my personality lol. There's a hokkien saying that goes, 'la sap jia, la sap dua', which literally translate to: If you eat dirt food, you grow up dirty. But it means that dirty food don't kill you. So yeah.
Okay so my point is:
I eat anything! Although I can be picky. Hmm...
Here's my ultimate result after answering some questions:
Yes, my username compliments my answer well. Anyway I don't (really) like kokocrunch. I just think they sound cool and, well, crunchy.
It says I know how to enjoy life. But I doubt studying for A levels is a way to enjoy life for now. And it states explicitly that I need to support a social cause!
The thing is, I do, and AM currently supporting a social cause. I'm not sure if befriending a needy elderly is, but I feel that it's a meaningful one. And I'm doing a long-term CIP for it as well. I very sure that I'll continue even when CIP is no longer a requirement.
In case you haven't been following my blog, I made a friend, Dunstan, at the old folks home. He's a cheerful 52 year old and I like him very much. :D Okay, I shall not explain how nice he is so you can just search through my posts if you're interested. (:
Okay, so that's the social cause that I'm supporting now.
So the quiz isn't exactly all accurate but hey, the questions are engaging and the options can be very Singaporean. So it's quite interesting to try out. (:
Oh, you can try the quiz out as well, just head to http://itsmyturn.sg/ (:
Anyway, just to side track... When I was asked about whether I eat to live or live to eat, my mind had this massive food flashback (alliteration!) I feel obliged to post yummy photos now!
Paper Prata! Which isn't a Singaporean dish in general, but it is to me. (: It's crispy and the sugar and butter melts in my mouth.
Not very healthy... But still!
Okay, and there's another thing that the quiz didn't ask me. And that's about the stuff I read. Anyway I think Singaporeans (in general) don't adopt a culture of reading. Be it comics, novels, poems or literature text.
Well, personally I read a lot of things.
Okay so in conclusion the quiz doesn't reflect how Singaporean you are, at least not fully. But it is a fun quiz. (:
You can check it out at http://itsmyturn.sg/ :D All right, have a nice day!
